San Francisco Recreation and Parks hosts a guided tour around the beautiful Lake Merced. The trail spans 4.5 miles around the lake's perimeter and offers vistas of gorgeous natural scenery. Additionally, there are picnic benches, a fishing pier, a boathouse, and a boat launch to enjoy. Migratory birds often stop at the park, making Lake Merced the perfect spot for bird watching.
